Keith Urban, Jamie O'Neal and Sherrie Austin are performers from down under who've made it as country stars in America. Kimber Sparks is reversing that trend.
Kimber, a full-time university student, has resided in Australia for more than 6 years, and she's trying with all her might to make her mark on the Australian country music scene. Lee Kernaghan, Australia's most famous country music performer, noticed Kimber singing one night in Rockhampton. He went one asked her to open one of his concerts. Now Kimber's first single, "Go Get 'Em Girl", has reached No.1 on countdowns in Australia and Europe, and the song's video is No. 29 on the Country Music Channel down there and is still climbing.
